  • Do you guarantee your work?

    Every roof we install comes with a 20 year workmanship guarantee.

  • How long will it take to install my roof?

    Typically, we can tear off and install your new roof within the same day, however, very large complicated roofs may require additional time.

  • Can you waive my deductible?

    No. Per insurance code Sec. 707.002. PAYMENT OF DEDUCTIBLE REQUIRED. A person insured under a property insurance policy shall pay any deductible applicable to a first-party claim made under the policy.


    This means that we are not able to waive the deductible for any customer without breaking the law.

  • Can I finance my deductible?

    Absolutely! There are many methods to finance your deductible. Options include: Heloc, personal loan, family loan, some mortgage companies will allow you to tack it onto the back end of your mortgage, and Hammer Down Roofing offer competitive interest rate loans and will attempt to help no matter your credit score.

  • Do I have to fix everything?

    When you have an insurance claim on your property, the insurance company is agreeing to pay for a set number of items and areas of your home. When a claim has been processed, you are responsible for making all of the repairs before coverage will be granted again. In short, if you choose not to repair an area that was previously damaged, but repair everything else within the scope of work, you will insurance coverage but they will not cover that area again until the repairs have been made.


    For example: If the insurance company agrees to replace your roof, gutters, and windows and you choose to replace the roof and windows but do not replace the gutters, then the next time a storm comes through, the roof and windows will have coverage however the gutters will not.

  • Can I upgrade?

    Yes. If your policy allows for code upgrade, any upgrades performed to meet the current building code, would be covered under your insurance. Any upgrades that are not required by code, can still be performed with an additional cost out of pocket.

  • How long do I have to complete the repairs?

    Your insurance provider sets that time limit ranging anywhere from 6 months to five years, but it is recommended to complete them as quick as possible to avoid further loss as the insurance company does have the right to deny due to lack of mitigation.

  • What happens if I don’t get enough money for my claim?

    Not to worry, this is very common. We have staff dedicated to advocating for you with your insurance company to ensure that the only thing you owe is your deductible for any covered loss.


    We will never charge you more than what your insurance company agrees to.

  • Will there be any leftover funds?

    No. In order to maintain our product quality, we will not compromise on materials, labor, or technique. We will complete the job for the predetermined cost.
